About “Dorian Gray: Beneath the Canvas “:Trust fund baby.  Playboy. High school student. Now Dorian Gray can add monster hunter to the list. The burden of taking up the family business is a daunting task, with the only silver lining is Dorian’s budding new romance with rising ballet star Sybil Vane.  But when an old enemy of the Gray family resurfaces, Dorian must steel his nerves and turn to an unlikely ally in order to protect the ones he loves.

“I’ve have had these projects in my mind for years and finally being able to get them out is a dream come true. I have had a lot of success with reestablishing classic characters such as the muses in 10th Museas well as Legend of Isis,” said creator Darren G. Davis.

“We are thrilled to be developing Dorian Grayas a television series with Darren and TidalWave.  The themes and character both from the classic Oscar Wilde novel and Darren’s fresh and fun update resonate as strongly as ever in this age of narcissistic reflection; focus.”  – Susan Ferris, CEO of Bohemia Group Originals.

“This is just as much Basil Hallward’s story as it is Dorian’s.  Basil was one of the most prominent characters in the original novel by Oscar Wilde, and it’s only fitting that he has such a looming presence in this book considering that he was the artist who painted the titular picture in the first place.  And ironically, he becomes a slave to his own art, and he plays this intense cat-and-mouse game with our hero throughout the story.” John Garavaglia.

This is the first of eight novels in a new publishing venture with Markosia.  Other titles will include, Sinbad Rogue of Mars, Wrath of the Titans and Insane Jane.

Cover designs for both novels was done by Stephanie Swartz.
