WE ARE NOT WORKING WITH DOLLY PARTON ON THIS BOOK

When it comes to our biography comic book series, sometimes we work with various celebrities, and sometimes we do not. In the case of Ms. Parton, we reached out but did not receive a response from her team.

We never once said we worked with her on the book, but we hope we will one day. That door is always open.

As avid Dolly fans, we hope she likes the comic book as much as we do! It was fun to make.

We are within our rights to do comic book biographies.  In the early 1990s, “Rock and Roll Comics” won a lawsuit that set a precedence that comic books are a form of an unauthorized biography. As long as a publisher does not use copywritten or trademark material; they are within their rights.

We have worked with some great people and donated to their non-profits, such as Ellen DeGeneres, Barbara Walters, Olivia Newton-John, Carrie Fisher, Anne Rice, and more.

We hope you continue to love what we have been doing on showcasing women who make a difference in the world. The “Female Force” comic book series celebrates women, especially during Women’s History Month.
