Kristen has become a household name through the “Twilight” Saga, but box office numbers do not define her success.   An actress, vocal artist, singer, author, comedian, and talk show host, Jane Lynch, is in the public eye every time you turn on the television. Her journey to success is inspiring. Rosie O’Donnell is one of the most outspoken LGBTQ allies as well as living her authentic life as an out and proud member of the lesbian community.  This 96-page graphic novel will make you feel more pride.

BOOK FIVE:

Stonewall Riots: Hard Cover

In June of 1969, a gay bar in Greenwich Village, New York called The Stonewall was raided by police.  This is historically agreed as the catalyst to set forth the gay rights movement.  Facing persecution, prosecution and a violation of their civil rights, the homosexual community was mad as hell, and they weren’t going to take it anymore.  The events at Stonewall lead to riots and demonstrations to open the dialogue and fight for the basic human rights of the homosexual community.  TidalWave Productions is proud to present Stonewall, a detailed account of movement that started with Stonewall and continues to this day with the gay community celebrating gay pride each year to commemorate the brave efforts of the community.

“As out and proud gay man who is HIV+, I am glad to be able to use my platform to share and celebrate stories of the LGBTQ+ community. However, over the past ten years the stories we’ve told have been predominantly those of white and cis people, which I realize has contributed to the continued erasure of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) Queer and Trans voices and experiences within our community.” Said publisher Darren G. Davis.  “Going forward, TidalWave Productions is making it a priority to focus on BIPOC LGBTQ+ voices and stories. Books currently in the works include Angela Davis, Billy Porter, Laverne Cox, and Lil Nas X, and we are excited to share more with you soon.  We are always looking for suggestions on subjects.”

A special poster of all the covers is available exclusively at Comic Flea Market.
