Syndicate Wine, LLC is thrilled to announce five custom Oregon wines, with labels featuring exclusive artwork of Oregon comic book publisher TidalWave Productions. The first four wines will be released for sale to the general public on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Syndicate Wine Bar in Beaverton, at a special tasting event open to the public.
After the past year (and more) of unprecedented events, we all need superheroes in our lives… and so do the grapes! The wine industry was especially hard hit in 2020, with wildfires impacting an already difficult year.
Recent times have challenged us all, but have also helped us realize unknown strength, endurance, and optimism. In response, we partnered with Tidal Wave Productions to create a series of labels for Syndicate’s 2021 releases, imagining grape varietals as super heroes.
The custom labels feature TidalWave Productions flagship character the “10th Muse” which launched twenty-years ago at Image Comics (another Oregon company). The comic book launched at the sixth highest selling comic upon its release. The labels also have brand new wine themed super heroes that are part of an upcoming comic book series featuring “10th Muse”.
We welcome the public to join us in celebration of these new wines, and the greater story they represent of perseverance and endurance against all odds. During the release party we will feature four of the new wines – Chardonnay, Syrah, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir Rosé — as part of a special flight, and offer bottle sales as well. Founded in 2019, Syndicate Wine, LLC is an Oregon Benefit Company. With an established wine bar and retail space in Beaverton, the company will open a second location in Newberg in September 2021.
