The hit comic book series that started off at Image Comics is returns to TidalWave Comics nineteen years after the release. The limited series \u00a0issue #1 was just released.<\/p>\n
The new series features the star of the first mainstream comic book character living with HIV\u201d.\u00a0 Zak Raven the featured character of \u201cLost Raven\u201d is now dating one of the main characters in the new 10th<\/sup> Muse series.\u00a0 \u00a0The characters navigate having a zero-conversion relationship.<\/p>\n \u201cHighlighting storylines with HIV in comic books has always been something I wanted to do.\u00a0 When I developed \u201cLost Raven\u201d in 2003 it won awards and was a positive step into the reducing stigma in a different demographic.\u00a0 As someone who deals with HIV on a daily basis, I wanted to share my world in the pages of a comic book\u201d.<\/p>\n In the new \u201c10th<\/sup> Muse\u201d series we also we also tell the story of one of supporting characters coming out.<\/p>\n \u201cComing out was not an easy thing to do for me.\u00a0 It is getting better and easier for people now.\u00a0 I wanted to show Brett\u2019s struggles and the love he gets for his bravery in coming out to his family and friends\u201d. said Davis.<\/p>\n Greek mythology has documented the nine Muses, the inspirational daughters of the almighty god Zeus. But history forgot one\u2014the 10th Muse. Emma Sonnet mysteriously disappeared five years ago during a summer trip to Greece celebrating her graduation from law school. Yesterday, she resurfaced just as mysteriously as the newly appointed District Attorney, with a unique take on the law. Battling evil in the courtroom by day, and in the shadows at night, Emma Sonnet is tipping the scales of justice her way, as the 10th Muse. Billionaire industrialist Grayson Bishop, charming and as deadly as a cobra, will as easily kill a rival as bury them in business.
