Read her story of love, loss, faith, and redemption in this new comic book by TidalWave Comics.

When I write these scripts, I think of the comic like a photo album. With roughly twenty pages to work with and about five pictures per page, how can I tell Jill Biden’s story in one hundred pictures?”

From artist “Joe Paradise, “To me Dr. Biden is one of the more endearing people in this entire 2020 election saga. My brother’s a middle school teacher, and he’s one of the most dedicated and hardworking people I’ve ever known. I told a joke at his wedding that none of his students could read or write but they all knew how many points the Giants were giving up on Sunday, but the truth is he is invested in every single one of his kids and cares so much it would break your heart. I see that same energy in our First Lady. Teachers are the caretakers of this country’s future and they do not get anything close to the recognition they deserve. As for the book itself, in many ways it was like coming home. Literally. I’ve done caricature gigs all over Wilmington and the Philly area – and hoping to be safely back at Citizens Bank Park for the Phillies very soon – so all the settings are very familiar to me. I know the Stone Balloon, did a whole bunch of photo shoots in Hammonton, did gigs in Willow Grove, PA – this is one of those times where I don’t have to make an educated guess on the setting, it’s like drawing my own backyard. It’s very freeing as an artist to just know what the setting is supposed to look like, and I think it shows in the finished product.”.
